Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Autism Spectrum Disorder
An Autism Spectrum Assessment with adults and adolescents typically involves 6-8 hours of direct client contact, testing, and completion of clinical and behaviorual questionnaires.
However, as part of the assessment we will also need to obtain collateral information from an informant when possible (a family member/partner/parent/caregiver or close friend if adult) who knows the client well and can complete the pertinent questionnaires and ideally provide developmental history information.
The entire assessment (including self and informant diagnostic interviews, ADOS-2 administration, administration of questionnaires, cognitive testing, scoring, review of school records and previous assessments, formulation, feedback, and report writing) can take anywhere from 15-25 hours to complete.
The Assessment can be completed in a hybrid manner. However, you are expected to complete your clinical interview and the cognitive testing parts in person.
