Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
ADHD Assessment
The ADHD assessment examines children and adults ability to sustain attention and regulate their behaviours and investigates whether an attention disorder is impacting their academic / employment, social, or daily functioning. It also includes a screening of the individual's social-emotional functioning/mental health.
The assessment involves approx. 3-4 hours of direct client contact and testing (clinical interview and cognitive screening) and 1-2 hours of completion of behaviorual/clinical questionnaires. It will also involve collecting collateral information (through Parent Interview and/or Informant Questionnaires) when available. The entire assessment (including interviews, testing, scoring, review of academic records/documents, formulation, feedback, and report writing) will take approx. 12-15 hours.
An ADHD Assessment can be completed either fully in-person or hybrid. The cognitive testing components must be completed in-person. The clinical Interview must be done in-person or by secure video.
